With over 44 years of professional experience performing and recording music, Kurt is among the more established drummers in the Pacific Northwest.
An experienced bandleader and side-man, Kurt enjoys working in a number of diverse musical situations with some of the best musicians the region has to offer.
In addition to the public performances, Kurt also performs regularly at numerous private functions and events.

Rates*
Performing:
- Weekdays/nights: $100 plus $25 per hour
- Weekends: $100 plus $50 per hour
Recording: $125 per day plus $25 per hour
Rehearsals/Planning Meetings: $25 per hour
Small Club Dates: Local club dates must cover my basic gig-related expenses, and for most in-town gigs, that’s about $75.00 per performance. So the pay (+ tips, trade, or barter) should be a minimum of $75.
Note: Kurt and his drums have a 6’x6’ stage footprint when playing acoustically (and about 8’x8’ when surrounded by mic stands, or if he needs a music stand), and he’ll need to be covered for outdoor performances. Also, he needs a level (not just flat; actually level), and sturdy stage/surface to provide a good foundation for his drums. Kurt, combined with his drum gear, weighs close to 500 lbs. and he doesn’t sit still when playing, so any drum riser or staging needs to be safety rated over 500 lbs.
